(ABC 6 News) - The man found dead at a home in rural Austin Tuesday night died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the Mower County Sheriff's office.
The sheriff's office is not releasing additional details at this time.

(ABC 6 News) - Authorities in Mower County say one person was shot and killed overnight in rural Austin.
The Mower County Sheriff's Office believes the shooting stemmed from a domestic incident between a husband and wife who are believed to be in the process of divorce.
The initial call to police came in at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. When authorities arrived, they found a 41-year-old man dead.
The woman was taken in for a medical evaluation and authorities say it's still unclear who fired the weapon.
As of now, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. There are also no suspects at this time and no apparent danger to the public.
The name of the victim is being withheld.

(ABC 6 News) - One person is dead after a shooting overnight in rural Austin, according to the Mower County Sheriff's Office.
The shooting happened in the 24000 block of 540th Avenue and authorities believe it was a domestic incident.
According to Mower County Chief Deputy Mark May, no suspects are in custody, but there doesn’t appear to be any danger to the public.
The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is assisting the Mower County Sheriff’s Office with the incident.
At this time, May said the victim’s name is not being released.
