Thanks to the clouds, it wasn't as cold as it could have been, but it will remain cold, especially this morning. Temperatures will slip below-zero, coldest along and north of Highway 14 in southern MN. The clouds will clear, and temps will slip around sunrise to near -10 for some, with wind chills around -20. Again, the coldest air to the north. Bundle up the kiddos before sending them off to school today, and be sure to cover up any bare skin, as frostbite can occur in 30 minutes with a -20 below wind chill. Temperatures will slowly warm though as the day goes on, cold single digits for the afternoon, and nearing 10 by the evening/overnight.
