(ABC 6 News) -- The Albert Lea City Council discussed a Citizen Survey Monday Night.
The Survey, which is conducted every 3 years, showed that around two-thirds of survey takers said economic development should be the city's top priority going forward.
Some of those items include affordable housing, child care, and health care options.
The City Council also approved accepting $25,000 in state funding to launch a bike share program in the city.
The city plans to purchase 12 bikes and install two bike storage units in town. The units would be built at Frank Hall Park and near the splash pad.
The council also approved a resolution updating the city's transition plan for sidewalks bus stops, and other city areas in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
