(ABC 6 News)- There will soon be more options for affordable housing in Charles City.

Construction is underway for the “Collective on 13th,” a new 40-unit housing community located on Corporate Drive and 13th Street.

Those behind the 12 million dollar project say the project will combine thoughtful design, modern amenities, and strong community spaces.

Construction is expected to be completed sometime next year.
