UPDATE: Freeborn County 911 outage resolved

(ABC 6 News) – Update: The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the 911 outages from May 6 have been fixed.

(ABC 6 News) — As of 4 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office is still working to resolve issues regarding a 911 outage.

Sheriff Ryan Shea said the issue relates to not receiving all the information that comes with a 911 call such as the caller’s address and phone number, and the issue seems to be with the phone company, Lumen.

There is no estimate as to when the issue will be resolved at this time.
