2 More Arrested in Large Drug Sweep

(ABC 6 News) -- Two more people were arrested following a massive drug sweep in Olmsted County.

Deputies with the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office arrested 32-year-old Elizabeth Vomhof around 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16 in northwest Rochester. She faces a second-degree controlled substance charge for sales of methamphetamine.

Just after midnight on Thursday, May 17, 32-year-old Christopher Harris was taken into custody following a traffic stop on the 4200 block of 11th Ave. in SW Rochester. Rochester Police said Harris had prescription pills in the vehicle that were not prescribed to him, meth pipes, meth residue and an open bottle of alcohol. In addition to his warrant for third-degree drug sales, Harris faces new charges for not having a driver's license, an open bottle and fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Harris and Vomhof are two of 27 people who were targeted by the Southeast Minnesota Violent Crimes Enforcement Team. Authorities said 15 mid-level dealers were taken into custody on Tuesday, May 15.
