2 People Facing Drug Charges After Unrelated Accident Leads to Investigation

(ABC 6 News) - Two people are facing possible drug charges after a motorcycle accident led to an investigation.

According to the Rochester Police Department, the accident happened on Monday; the driver of the motorcycle was using 31-year-old Brig Kough's bike.  Kough had an active warrant out of Wisconsin and was also being investigated by Rochester police for narcotics.

Police learned that Kough was known to frequent a residence on the 2500 block of Lake Shady Ave. S. in Oronoco.

Kough was taken into custody at that residence for his active warrant.  

Police said an 18-year-old and a juvenile were also in the home and that a search warrant turned up 13 ounces of methamphetamine, prescription pills and $2,400 in cash.

The homeowner, 41-year-old Kimberly Lemmerman, was taken into custody and is facing two felony charges: 1st-Degree Sale 17 Grams or More of Cocaine or Methamphetamine and 1st-degree Possession of 50 Grams or More of Cocaine or Methamphetamine.

In addition to the charges he's facing in Wisconsin, Kough was charged in Olmsted County Court with 3 felonies: Aggravated Controlled Substance Crime 1st-Degree and 2 Aggravating factors, 1st-Degree Sale 17 Grams or More- Cocaine or Methamphetamine and 1st-Degree Possession 50 Grams or More- Cocaine or Methamphetamine.
