UPDATE: Missing 2-Year-Old Found Safe

(ABC 6 News) - UPDATE: Missing 2-year-old Dakota Ray was located in Iowa late Thursday and is safe.

Her parents, William and Jessica Ray have been arrested on unrelated drug charges.

According to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, 2-year-old Dakota Ray and her parents, William and Jessica Ray, were at a gas station in Marshall, Minnesota on Monday.

The MN BCA said they may still be in the state, possibly the metro area.

Dakota was removed from her parents care for safety reasons.

Law enforcement is looking for a missing South Carolina toddler who was taken by her parents and may be in Minnesota or Iowa.

According to a press release by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and the Camden Police Department in South Carolina, 2-year-old Dakota Ray was taken on April 15 by her parents 44-year-old William Ray and 36-year-old Jessica Ray.

According to law enforcement, both parents are considered heavy methamphetamine users and there is concern for Dakota's wellbeing.

Surveillance images show the trio at a hospital in Iowa on Monday, May 14.

Law enforcement believes they may now be in Minnesota and are traveling in a 1996 Ford Aerostar van.

Dakota is described as 2'2" tall, 25 lbs. with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Jessica is described as 5'2" tall, 112 lbs. with long, light brown hair and blue eyes.

William is described as 6'11" tall, 340 lbs. with light brown hair and brown eyes.
