(ABC 6 News) - Minnesota fugitive Lois Riess has pleaded 'not guilty' to a murder charge related to the shooting death of a Florida woman.
According to court documents, Riess entered her written plea on Friday. She's facing a 2nd-Degree murder charge for the death of Pamela Hutchinson.
Investigators believe Riess killed Hutchinson in order to assume her identity. Police say Riess met Hutchinson in Florida while she was allegedly on the run for killing her husband, David Riess, at their rural Blooming Prairie home in late March.
Riess is expected to stand trial in Minnesota after the Florida case is done.
