UPDATE: 23-year-old woman hit in car vs. pedestrian crash Thursday

(ABC 6 News) -- UPDATE 2/18/2020: The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office has released more information on the crash Thursday evening near Ingot Road and County Road 11.

Sheriff John DeGeorge tells ABC 6 News the car hit a 23-year-old woman. Officials say the driver of the car was a 57-year-old man. 


The Sheriff's Office does not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation and will be forwarded on to the county attorney's office for further review and possible charges.

Officials were not able to give an update on the woman's condition.


More information is expected to be released Friday after one person was taken to the hospital following a vehicle versus pedestrian crash.

According to the Fillmore County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened on Thursday, February 13 just after 6 p.m. at the intersection of Ingot Road and County Road 11.

One person was transported to Saint Marys in Rochester with unknown injuries.
