(ABC 6 NEWS) - The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office said a deputy tried to pull over a motorcycle for speeding but it wouldn't stop and ended up crashing.
Officials said a deputy saw the motorcycle driving 90 miles per hour Monday afternoon in southwest Rochester. The Sheriff's Office said the driver did not stop for deputies when they turned their lights and sirens on. Deputies followed the motorcycle on Salem Road SW until it turned onto Mayowood Road SW. Officials say the driver, Fabion Coto from Rochester, then lost control of the bike and crashed.
Coto was reportedly taken to the hospital with a broken leg. He's facing possible charges of fleeing an officer by vehicle, speeding and other charges.
