UPDATE: Names released in double fatal crash on I-90

(ABC 6 News) - UPDATE:  The Minnesota State Patrol has released the names of those involved in a double fatal crash on I-90 in Mower County Thursday morning.

According to the incident report, the driver of the truck, 45-year-old Antonio Padillaibarra, of Tulsa, OK, and 18-year-old Eduardo Padilla, also of Tulsa, OK, died.  The State Patrol reported neither were wearing their seat belt.


39-year-old Jose Ivan Lagunasrojas, of Columbia, MO and 18-year-old Jordan Adelaido Ochoafernandez, also of Columbia, MO suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The State Patrol reported road conditions at the time of the crash were snowy and icy.

The Minnesota State Patrol has released more information on a double fatal crash that happened on I-90 in Mower County Thursday morning.

According to the crash report, four people were involved in the crash, a 45-year-old man from Tulsa, OK, a 39-year-old man from Colombia, MO, an 18-year-old man from Colombia, MO and an 18-year-old man from Tulsa, OK.

The report also states that the crash involved an unbelted or unrestrained occupant.

The road conditions at the time were listed as snowy and icy.

More information is expected to be released Thursday evening.


According to the Minnesota State Patrol two people were killed in a rollover crash on I-90 Thursday morning.

Officials say their car rolled and two people were ejected. MSP says both were declared dead at the scene. Officials say the other two people in the car were taken to the hospital.

MSP has not said what caused the crash.

More details will be released Thursday afternoon.


According to MnDOT, I-90 eastbound east of Dexter is closed due to a crash. 

MnDOT expects the road to be closed until about 11:45 a.m.

A detour for eastbound traffic is in effect. Drivers are urged to take Highway 16 east then head north on Highway 63

Officials have not released any information about the crash.
