(ABC 6 News) - The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a sweeping police reform bill that currently has little prospect of becoming law amid partisan gridlock. The legislation is named after George Floyd, who man who died while in Minneapolis police custody last month. His death ignited worldwide protests and a call for change. But, President Trump has said he will likely veto the measure.
ABC 6 News Anchor Betsy Singer spoke with Congressman Jim Hagedorn about that vote, and also about a social media post he made talking about Black Lives Matter that has gained a lot of attention.
