(ABC 6 News) – On Saturday, the Minnesota Department of Health reported 51 more people have died of COVID-19 in the state. This brings the total number of people who have died of the new coronavirus to 3,201. 

Among those who died of COVID-19, 2,192 people were residents of long-term care or assisted living facilities.

Health officials also report 6,265 new positive COVID-19 cases on Saturday increasing the state's total to 262,952. 20,018 people who have been infected with the new coronavirus are health care workers.

Winona        26      

Health officials also report a total of 3,712,110 tests have been completed. 2,277,980 individuals have been tested for COVID-19 so far.

211,513 patients no longer need to isolate.

On Saturday, MDH reports 14,745 people are hospitalized for COVID-19 in the state. 3,427 are patients in the ICU.
