(KSTP) - UPDATE: The Minnesota State Patrol has provided more information and identified the four individuals involved in a fatal crash on Highway 19 Monday morning.

The MSP said 59-year-old Richard Banidt was driving a tractor west on Highway 19. A Hyundai Sonata being driven by 28-year-old Bobak Barjasteh was heading east on Highway 19 when the two vehicles collided. A third vehicle with two people inside was behind the Sonato and was hit by debris from the crash.

According to the incident report posted by the MSP, both Banidt and Barjasteh were killed. The MSP said Barjasteh was not wearing a seatbelt.

Neither passenger in the third vehicle was hurt.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash that occurred along Highway 19 in Dakota County Monday morning.

According to the State Patrol, the crash happened at about 7:33 a.m. near Baldwin Avenue in Greenvale Township.

As a result, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported Highway 19 was closed between Northfield and Interstate 35.

The closure was expected to last "for several hours," MnDOT reported, and detours were in place.
