(ABC 6 News) - Gov. Tim Walz, on Tuesday, signed two more executive orders in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Watch the full press conference from Tuesday with Gov. Walz and state health officials.

Executive Order 20-25 extends licenses of peace officers, firefighters and private security personnel and defers continuing education requirements for officers whose licenses are set to expire soon, allowing them to continue working during the peacetime emergency.

Executive Order 20-26 extends re-certification dates for medical cannabis patient enrollments set to expire in the coming months, meaning those patients can ask for a temporary caregiver to be able to pick up medication on their behalf. It also allows them to practice social distancing with curbside delivery and telephone consultations with pharmacists.
