(ABC 6 News) - The latest ABC 6 News poll conducted by SurveyUSA shows how divided voters are in Minnesota about some key issues including the disapproval of the president.
A total of eleven questions were asked of 643 registered Minnesota voters, including men and women between the ages of 18 and over 65. The poll asked how they felt President Biden is handling the pandemic.
According to the poll, about half of voters approve with a total of 52 percent of all votes. Of the 52%, 28 percent strongly approve, while 24% approve the was the President has handled the pandemic. Meanwhile, 42 percent disapprove and 7 percent are unsure.
As for the President's handling of the economy, the SurveyUSA poll shows voters are pretty consistent with about a 49 percent approval rate.42 percent of voters disapprove of how Biden has handled the economy, while about 8 percent are not sure.
Now some of the other topics covered in the poll include how many justices should be on the U.S Supreme Court, the voter's stance on guns., immigration, and race relations.
A major issue topic in our country right now is the issue of policing. About half or 47 percent of Minnesota voters in the poll disapprove of the president's handling of policing issues.Meanwhile, roughly 37 percent of voters approve.
When it comes to where people stand on his handling of policing, guns, and immigration, the poll found that more people disapprove than approve.
