(ABC 6 News) - Delayed results from the Iowa caucuses are frustrating not only to the candidates but also the caucus-goers.

“It’s pretty disappointing, quite disappointing, but I understand sometimes there are problems with technology. Even though I’m quite disappointed, I’m not surprised, to put it that way,” said Terry Eldridge of Fertile.

“I hope they get it sorted out soon so, we can get some results from what happened.”

Former Vice-Chair of the Cerro Gordo County Democrats, Dean Genth served as a precinct captain at a satellite caucus in California. He said while things went smoothly on the West Coast, the news back home is upsetting.

“Those of us that invest this much time and energy and labor into the process, we would like instant results because we live in an age where everybody wants instant everything. I guess for my part, I’m willing to wait so that when we get the end result it’s accurate,” Genth said.
