Driver hurt after crash with semi Wednesday morning in north Iowa

(ABC 6 News) – A driver was taken to the hospital following a crash with a semi Wednesday morning in Floyd County, Iowa.

According to crash reports from the Iowa State Patrol, the driver of a 2018 Chevy Silverado was driving north on Lancer Ave shortly before 9:30 a.m. and failed to stop at a stop sign at Highway 18. The truck was then hit by an oncoming semi.

The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital. The driver of the semi was not hurt.

The crash is under investigation.
