Tuesday Evening Severe Threat

After a very hot and humid Tuesday afternoon, with temperatures in the 90s and a heat index near 100°, severe storms are expected to develop to our west and push into our region. The atmosphere will be extremely unstable, elevating our severe threat for this evening especially. The time frame to watch is 5 PM to 9 PM. The primary threat is damaging wind, however threats of large hail and an isolated tornado(es) are possible as well. Keep it on ABC 6 News on air and online for the latest weather information!
