(ABC 6 News) – Starting Friday, Marcus Theatres’ in Rochester will offer the option of vaccination required shows.

Guests attending these shows will be asked to present a vaccination card or a photo of the card before entering.

This policy applies to all guests attending these showings including children.

Leaders at the theater say this simply provides guests with more options.

"This is a guest choice and we simply want our guests to be able to experience the movies in our buildings exactly the way they want. It’s been really popular, the reactions have been very positive once people understand, that our goal is to entertain everyone," said vice president of sales at Marcus Theatres Clint Wisialowski.

This Friday, the vaccine-required show will roll out at 26 of their 85 locations and any movie with a vaccine required showing will also have regular showings.
