Southland breaks ground on $18 million project

(ABC 6 News) -  An area school will break ground on an $18 million project.

Voters in the Southland district approved the referendum last fall providing the funds to move elementary students from Rose Creek to have all of the students under one roof in Adams.

Voters also approved a second question asking for another $2.4 million for an additional gymnasium and physical education space.

The district is raising funds to renovate its auditorium with a goal of $630,000.

The projects are all expected to be completed by the start of the 2021 school year.
