(ABC 6 News) -- A 29-year-old North Iowa teacher accused of engaging in sexual contact with a student is now facing charges.

The Howard County Sheriff's Office and Cresco Police say an investigation found 29-year-old Tiffany Ranweiler-Oblander had sexual contact with an 18-year-old student on "numerous occasions" during this school year. She was taken to the Winneshiek County Jail and released on a $5,000 bond.

She is now facing a charge of sexual exploitation of a school employee.

A no-contact order has been issued between Ranweiler-Oblander and the student.
