Proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction will go to the Rochester Public Schools Foundation. The organization raises money for grants for teachers and students, "Another thing we do with Rochester Public Schools Foundation is to raise money for some scholarships for kids who may not otherwise be looking at college or secondary education. It's sort of an incentive to say, 'Hey, we believe in you'" said Melissa Amundsen who is president of the Rochester Public Schools Foundation.

This year organizers say they hope to raise $10,000.
