(ABC 6 News) - Winona's Mayor proclaimed a citywide mask order requiring all residents and visitors to wear face coverings indoors in public buildings and anywhere physical distancing is difficult.
Mayor Mark Peterson signed the order Tuesday which goes into effect Friday, June 10 for 30 days and could be extended or ended by the city council.
People are required to wear a mask when individuals are closer than 6 feet to another person including employees of retail businesses, public transportation users, patrons of bars and restaurants when not seated at tables, gym users, and entertainment venue attendees.
