In a reversal, the Minnesota Department of Education has updated their guidance to Minnesota State High School League rules to allow for a limited number of spectators at indoor events.

According to the MSHSL, with the updated guidance from MDE, each team at indoor events will be allowed up to two spectators per participant. Spectators must stay separated by six feet between households or spectator groups.

Event spaces are not allowed to exceed 25% of the total capacity and walk-ins and impromptu purchases admittance will not be allowed. Schools must take advanced reservations.
