Essential Needs Request Line now open in Mower County

(ABC 6 News) - Mower County residents looking for help connecting to community resources now have a hotline they can call.
For people who have needs beyond the assistance of family, friends or neighbors call the Essential Needs Request Line at 507-396-8227 or email

Health and Human Services also has a hotline, 507-437-9701.

As of Tuesday, Mower County Public Health confirms 13 cases of COVID-19, patients range in age from late teens to early 60s.  MCPH also said 6 people are now out of isolation.

The Mower County Emergency Operations Center is also reminding Minnesotans to stay at home until April 10th, as ordered by Governor Walz.
