38 deaths, over 10k more people tested for COVID-19 in Iowa

(ABC 6 News) - The latest information as of November 19, 2020, on coronavirus in Iowa according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.

Confirmed cases of COVID-19: 198,674

  • 4,195 additional cases recorded from yesterday 

Deaths: 2,102

  • 38 additional deaths recorded from yesterday

46.2%, or 972, of deaths, are from long term care facilities  

112,778 people have recovered 

1,133,891 total people tested

  • 10,426 additional people tested

17.5% of total individuals tested to date have been reported as positive 

1,516 patients are in the hospital

  • 286 patients in ICU 
  • 233 admitted in the last 24 hours

94 current outbreaks in long term care facilities
