(ABC 6 News) - The latest information as of 10:00 a.m. on June 29, 2020, on coronavirus in Iowa according to the Iowa Department of Public Health. 

Confirmed cases of COVID-19: 28,728


Deaths: 707

17,711 people have recovered

300,427 total people tested

119 patients are in the hospital

35 patients in ICU



70% of people who died also had a pre-existing condition

31% of people who have recovered also have a pre-existing condition


What do these numbers mean: 

1 in 11 Iowans have been tested

1 in 110 Iowans tested have tested positive

9.6% of Iowans tested have tested positive

2.5% of Iowans who have tested positive have died
