(ABC 6 News) - The Grand Meadow Public School District announced its moving to distance learning starting Monday, December 14 through Wednesday, December 23 due to an increase in COVID-19 cases in the community.

Parents/Guardians of the Grand Meadow Public School District:
Grand Meadow Public School District will be moving to a distance learning instruction model beginning Monday, December 14, 2020 through Wednesday, December 23, 2020 due to the increase of COVID-19 cases locally and in Mower County. This will affect all students in the district, grades PK through 12th grade. This decision is supported by the Mower County Health Department and the MN Department of Health COVID-19 guidance.
Other information will follow in regard to the process of transitioning to distance learning.
