(ABC 6 News) - The latest information as of January 25, 2021, on coronavirus in Iowa according to the Iowa Department of Public Health.

COVID-19 Vaccine as of 1-22: 

  • Total doses administered: 177,520
    • 21,224 additional vaccine administered from Wednesday
  • Series Completed: 26,463, 14.9% of total administered
    • 9,609 additional series completed from Wednesday
  • 0.08% of the estimated total population of Iowa have been fully vaccinated*

Individuals with positive COVID-19 test: 313,263

  • 448 more positive cases reported today

Total Deaths: 4,488

  • 0 additional death reported today

41.4%, or 1,860, of deaths, are from long term care facilities  

1,448,959 total people tested

274,743 people have recovered 

21.6% of total individuals tested to date have been reported as positive 

383 patients are in the hospital

  • 78 patients in ICU 
  • 40 admitted in the last 24 hours

68 current outbreaks in long term care facilities
