(ABC 6 News) - Tuesday, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds stopped in Charles City as part of her 99 County Tour.
She spoke with local health officials, congratulating and thanking them for all the work they've done amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“They’ve done an incredible job. They said they’ve been planning for this forever and so this was an opportunity with a very fluid, unprecedented coronavirus outbreak to really put into practice some of the plans they had in place," said Reynolds.
The group also shared their gratitude for the governor and her team saying they've been very responsive to their questions and concerns, supplied them with sufficient amounts of personal protective equipment (PPE) and called on the Iowa National Guard for help with contact tracing.
