(ABC 6 News) - Bravery comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors, especially pink.
Wildwood Sports Bar and Grill hosted the American Cancer Society kicking off a big campaign. Thursday's event marked the start of the third annual Real Men Wear Pink campaign in Rochester.
The goal is to raise $50,000 to support breast cancer research.
Elizabeth Harris, Community Development Manager at the American Cancer Society shares more about the campaign, "breast cancer is primarily in women but there are men who are diagnosed with breast cancer as well that's part of the awareness piece. What's really great about this type of campaign is its really unique and each participant is able to kind of customize it and make it whatever they want and they have their own reason why they are participating."
Breast cancer is the most diagnosed cancer among women. The American Cancer Society will have activities through October including targets for tatas, a clay sporting shoot in Pine Island.
