(ABC 6 News) - Many bikers in Austin are gathering for a good cause.

More than 300 bikers are taking part in a 60 mile trip around Southeast Minnesota and Iowa this weekend. They're raising awareness for multiple sclerosis (MS).

The Bike MS: Ride Across MN event is extending North and South of Austin.

We spoke to a woman at the event who's done this for years.

She's been taking part since 1990 and at 68, nothing is stopping her from having a good time.

"Everybody had fun in Austin. Austin, you have to be really happy,  give yourself a pat on the back. We love coming here, you always do a great job. So Thank you, Austin Minnesota," Mary Nelson said.

Nelson rode with her team called the Spam Trammers.

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is hosting this. It's a two-day bike ride and wraps up Saturday evening.
