(ABC 6 News) -- The search to find Jodi Huisentruit has been an ongoing effort ever since the former Mason City TV news anchor disappeared while on her way to work nearly 25 years ago.
Austin radio host Scott Fuller has spent years of time and attention on Jodi’s case.
“About three years ago here for the radio station, I did a podcast called ‘What Happened to Jodi?’ It was very short, very basic information about the case. A year after that I did an in-depth investigation for a podcast that I produce, that I own called ‘Frozen Truth,’ and I did a whole season, 15 episodes on Jodi there," said Fuller.
Now, he’s joining the official FindJodi.com team to produce a FindJodi branded podcast.
“I had all this information, they have their information and it’s probably not something I would normally do, but they asked me, ‘Should we merge,’ and I agreed,” Fuller said.
“I was just amazed at his production value, his ability to put the podcast together and tell a story. On top of that, the research he could do, I was very impressed with him," said Co-founder of FindJodi.com Josh Benson.
“We think that there’s a need for an official voice of record podcast for Jodi,” Fuller said.
Joining forces will build a much larger pool of shared information that the team hopes can lead them further in bringing Jodi home.
The official FindJodi podcast is expected to debut around the 25th anniversary of Huisentruit’s disappearance.
