The Austin Police department and the BCA continue to investigate the death of a 64-year-old woman.

Neighbors declined to go on camera, but one neighbor who lives next door says the woman had lived there about 11 years.

The neighbor also told us the victim's husband died within the past year.

He told ABC 6 News that there have been numerous noise complaints and on Thursday night heard yelling could be heard outside for a few hours.

Neighbors tell us they've seen people come and go from the house, including a young man who they say helps around the house.

Now we don't know if there is any relation in any way to the woman's death.

What we do know is that on just after 8 a.m. Friday morning, officers responded to a call about a woman unresponsive and not breathing.

Austin Fire and Mayo Ambulance paramedics tried to save the woman’s life but attempts were unsuccessful.

Detectives on scene determined an injury near the victim's left eye as being suspicious.

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension was called to the scene due to the suspicious nature of the death.
