(ABC 6 News) - An Austin man and his father have been arrested in connection to the riots at the U.S. Capitol in January.
29-year-old Daniel Johnson was arrested Friday morning by the FBI and Austin Police Department on charges relating to criminal acts on Jan. 6. Documents also state Johnson's father, Daryl of Saint Ansgar, Iowa, was present on Jan. 6. Daryl was arrested Friday as well.
Johnson faces several possible charges of entering and remaining in a restricted building, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building, violent entry and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building and parading, demonstrating or picketing in a Capitol building.
Charging documents uploaded to the Department of Justice Website include screenshots from a video showing Johnson inside the U.S. Capitol.
Documents also show the FBI received tips saying Daniel had posted a video to Snapchat from inside the U.S. Capitol Building. Another tip showed a screenshot of a Facebook comment written by Johnson that said "I was one of the first ones inside the capitol building."

In April a Rochester woman was also arrested and charged in connection to the riots at the U.S. Capitol. Johnson is one of five Minnesotans to be arrested.
A Minneapolis man was also taken into custody Friday.
