(ABC 6 News) - An Emergency Operation Center is now open in Mower County.
Mower County Health and Human Services has now established an Emergency Operation Center (EOC) to monitor the coronavirus pandemic as it unfolds. The EOC tracks the activities of federal, state and local partners and communicates with area responders
The EOC also asks people living in Mower County to check in on their neighbors and family while maintaining social distancing. Those in need of assistance can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Thursday, Mower County Public Health confirmed 4 new cases of COVID-19 in the county. Those testing positive range in age from late teens to late 50’s. The four new cases bring the total number of those testing positive in Mower County to 10.
Three of the 10 patients with COVID-19 in Mower County have fully recovered and are out of isolation, however, one still remains at the hospital in Austin.
