3 injured in rural Mower County crash

(ABC 6 News) – Multiple agencies responded to a two-vehicle crash in Mower County this morning.

The crash happened just before noon at the intersection of 770th Avenue and 220th street.

The Mower County Sheriff’s office says one vehicle was traveling on 220th St and another was traveling on 770th Ave.

The vehicle traveling on 220th St. went through the stop sign and struck the other vehicle. Both vehicles left the road and entered the ditch.

At this time, it is unclear which direction each was traveling.

Three people were transported by ambulance to St. Marys Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Grand Meadow Fire, Grand Meadow Ambulance, and State Patrol all assisted on the scene.
