Thursday, Gov. Tim Walz will tour the damage from flooding in southeastern Minnesota.
Last month, heavy rainfall caused the Zumbro River to swell.
Water rose over roads, flooding homes and yards.
Authorities reported the area received more than six inches of rain in one night, causing the flash flooding.
Meanwhile, Chopper 5 captured video of severe flooding that closed Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo.
Walz will visit Dodge and Olmsted counties to talk with local officials about the flooding's aftermath.
More from KSTP.com:
The governor will meet with lawmakers and local officials in Mantorville and Byron to talk about the flooding issues they are seeing and what can be done.
