A 13-year-old from Barron, Wisconsin, who was last seen in October will leave a Duluth hospital Friday to return home.
Jayme was found alive Thursday late afternoon, according to the Barron County Sheriff's Office. Jayme walked up to a woman walking her dog in Gordon, Douglas County, at about 4:43 p.m., telling her a man killed her parents and that she needed help.
Friday morning, ABC News reported Jayme's family said when Jayme was found, "she had large shoes on that were too big for her. And she was pretty dirty and her hair was matted. They offered her food and water but she declined."
Authorities were notified and a suspect, also in Gordon, was taken into custody within minutes.
Gordon is roughly an hour's drive north of Barron, where Jayme was last seen in October.
On Oct. 15, authorities received a 911 call and responded to Jayme's house where authorities found two deceased adults, later identified as Jayme's parents. Authorities also learned Jayme was missing from the residence.
A months-long search effort was launched, with authorities following up on thousands of tips.
The Barron County Sheriff's Office, in a statement posted to Facebook, said authorities were unable to share additional details, citing a "very fluid and active investigation."

In a Facebook post, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children said "Jayme is an example of why we never lose hope and never stop searching."
Jayme's family said what's most important is that she'll be home soon.
The Barron County Sheriff's Office held a news conference Friday, releasing more details in the case.
