Snowy Roads Cause Crashes in Minnesota

As snow fell on Minnesota roads Thursday night, it made driving treacherous.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, there were 172 crashes statewide between 5 and 9 p.m. There were injuries in 26 of those crashes, though none were fatal.

There were also 75 vehicles that spun out or went off the road.

In the Twin Cities metro, there were 123 crashes - 12 with injury and none fatal. Fifty vehicles spun out or went off the road.
