(ABC 6 News) – The Rochester Honkers made it 2-for-2 against the Minnesota Mud Puppies as they got another victory on a special evening.

The first time the Honkers won, there were fireworks afterward. There were no fireworks this time, as the evening belonged to the cows.

Fans wore cow hats, the team wore cow-themed jerseys, and there was a literal milking of a cow on the field in the middle of the third inning.

The Honker offense milked the Mud Puppies for runs in the early innings and put it on the defense to steer the team to a 4-2 victory.

Zachary Meddings led the team with 2 hits and 2 RBIs. David Rodriguez got the victory on the mound as he struck out 7 and only allowed 4 hits.

The Honkers improve to 7-11 on the season.
