22-year-old hurt in crash involving semi near Albert Lea Township Tuesday

(ABC 6 News) – A 22-year-old woman was taken to the hospital following a crash on Interstate 35 near Albert Lea Township Tuesday afternoon.
Crash reports from the Minnesota State Patrol show a semi and a Chevy Malibu were headed north on the interstate when they collided near mile marker 8 just after 5 p.m.
The 57-year-old driver in the semi was not hurt. The 22-year-old in the car was hurt and was taken to the hospital. Her injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Crash reports indicate both drivers were wearing seatbelts and alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
