Jordyn Reed is a native Floridian who made the big move to Rochester, MN, in early January 2019. Jordyn spent most of her childhood in Central Florida before moving to Houston, TX and then back to Florida to attend the University of Florida.

While at UF, Jordyn worked with her journalism school’s PBS-affiliate station, WUFT, in both the news and sports departments, where she had the opportunity to report, anchor and produce sports. Through WUFT Sports, Jordyn worked on several Gator athletic beats such as volleyball, football, and baseball.

In addition to her work with WUFT she also worked with ESPN 98.1 FM & 850 AM WRUF covering local sports and Gator athletics through radio and web pieces.

During the summer of 2017, Jordyn interned at the MLB Network in the features department and during summer 2018, she interned with her hometown news station, News 6 WKMG, in Orlando in both news and sports.

Jordyn graduated from UF in December 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications degree and a minor in Spanish.
