Brianna began her television career at ABC 6 News in 2009. She worked as a production assistant, intern, and then a reporter. She graduated college with a degree in Mass Communications, and then later got a leadership-focused degree from Winona State University.

Her career then took her to Omaha, NE where Brianna spent a year working as a morning reporter.

Brianna then came back home and became the weekend anchor at ABC 6 News in 2012. In 2014, she took on the morning anchor role and spent seven years waking up dark and early before being promoted to News Director. Throughout her years at a reporter, producer, and anchor Brianna has been nominated for an Emmy award, has covered presidential visits, elections and many other big news stories. She’s also had the chance to go on fun adventures like exploring caves and even flying an airplane. However, her favorite stories to tell are the ones about the amazing people who live in southeast Minnesota and northeast Iowa.

When she’s not in the newsroom, you can find Brianna spending time with her husband, Bill and kids Aiden and Lucy. The kids are involved in all kinds of activities, so there’s a good chance Brianna will be on a court, on a field, or watching a dance competition on the weekends. She also enjoys playing board and card games with friends and family, and doing community work. She has been fortunate to volunteer and help out with many local organizations and fundraisers over the years.
