Med City FC suffers first defeat of the season, 2-1, to Duluth FC

(ABC 6 News) — Med City FC welcomed in Duluth FC in the former final home game of the 2022 season with a good crowd in the stands.

Noted American Ninja Warrior and Rochester’s own Roo Yori was also in attendance for what was a tough first half of the game.

The Mayhem stayed on the defensive as goalie Iker Gonzalez stayed frosty defending the net. Offensively, Scott Neil tried to set up Toby Millward but that attempt would ultimately be denied. Med City FC tried to squeeze in a goal seconds before halftime but another save by Duluth kept the first scoreless.

Despite Andres Garcia taking the lead for the Mayhem after halftime, Duluth FC would get the last laugh, giving Med City FC its first loss of the season, 2-1.
