“We wanted to bring specific high school and youth focus event to families in this area,” VP of NFL Youth Football Roman Oben said.  “We want them to walk away with our play football messaging and just understand the values of play football messaging, football participation.”

“My message is always the student athlete message, you can’t have one without the other,” Minnesota Vikings Youth Football Manager E.J. Henderson said.  “Put the school work first, hard work, you have to put the time and energy in and perseverance.”

In addition to sending a message to the young community, it was also a time for kids to meet and get autographs from current and former Vikings players.

“Seeing the smile on kid’s faces especially when they have the big time players come," Henderson said.  "They can get the autographs, its special to see their faces when they get to see their heroes that they see every Sunday.”
