(ABC 6 NEWS) – It’s not just politicians with mixed emotions after this election.
ABC 6 News wanted to hear from you, the people about the election outcome.
We spoke to nine people, three were for Donald Trump, three supported Clinton, and three were indifferent about the two candidates.
ABC 6 News Reporter Karsen Forsman went around Rochester on Wednesday afternoon asking people how they will support president-elect Donald Trump.
“We must follow Donald Trump, we live in America, we must follow him. We expect that he will be much better than Barack Hussein Obama,” said a Somalia native Adbulkadrr Omar.
“That will depend on what Donald Trump does and how he handles being in office,” said Brian Wimmer.
“We believe in all the things he’s talking about and we are really happy that he won,” said one Trump supporter Juke Bouwer.
“I will do what’s right for the country as a whole,” added Jim Vigen.
“I’ll support him as I’ve supported every elected president,” said Clinton supporter Sarah Melde.
Clinton supporter Dao See said, “I will not support him in any way because I’m not a fan of him and I disagree with the choice, I wish Hillary Clinton would win.”
“He is welcome. I welcome him, no problem,” said Somalia native Nur Hassan.
“He’s the president in January and I will support him like any other president like I did Obama and Bush before him,” added Libertarian voter Gina Evans.
