In-depth at 6:30: Director Talks Changes to Minnesota Zoo, Rochester Expansion

(ABC 6 NEWS) - There are new plans for the Minnesota zoo, Plans that hinge on state funding from the legislature.
     A former monorail track passes above and around the zoo and hasn't worked for a number of years. The new director John Frawley has proposed converting the nearly two-mile track into a treetop nature walkway. The cost would be roughly 10-15 million dollars. Some of which, Frawley is hoping to get from state bonding money in the upcoming 20-18 legislative session.

     Frawley was recently in our area talking to lawmakers about his plans and possible funding.
     ABC six anchor, Betsy Singer had a chance to go in-depth on what will be proposed in the coming months and has more.
